Modern 2-fold free-standing letterbox made in Germany by Briefkasten Manufaktur.
The mailbox is made of galvanized steel, powder coated in anthracite gray RAL 7016, the stand elements, access flap and newspaper compartment made of weather-resistant stainless steel V2A, ground. The very high quality workmanship and the sophisticated concept make this free-standing letterbox our top seller. A rain drainage edge for optimum water protection, a double-edged access flap with rubber buffer, the solid changeable name plate, a practical mail holding bracket and the very robust lock are the distinguishing features of this free-standing letterbox. This mailbox is easy to clean and insensitive.
Thanks to the construction method, self-assembly is uncomplicated.
- 2-compartment free-standing letterbox made of galvanized steel, powder coated in anthracite gray RAL 7016
- The system is made at the letterbox manufactory. German quality production "Made in Germany".
- The mailbox complies with DIN/EN 13724. Insert size (3.5 cm x 32.5 cm) for C4 crosswise, here fit even large letters without bending.
- Insertion flaps made of stainless steel V2A, ground with noise-damping rubber buffers for very quiet insertion of mail.
- The door can be opened from left to right.
- Incl. 2 keys with key number, changeable name plate under the access flap and mail holding bracket per mailbox.
- Newspaper compartments, open on both sides, made of stainless steel V2A, polished. Dimensions: 355x100x100mm.
- Additional rain protection can be achieved by the optional rain protection roof made of stainless steel V2A, polished.
- Bell box made of galvanized steel, powder coated in anthracite-gray RAL 7016
- Speech hole with universal adapter. (Intercom system/built-in loudspeaker not included). Optionally also available without speech perforation.
- Universal adapter is suitable for all commercially available built-in speakers (Siedle, Ritto, TCS, Busch-Jäger, Gira, Legrand Bticino, ELCOM, Auerswald, Comelit and many more).
- 2x round stainless steel bell push button type: Grothe Protact, max. 24 V AC/DC, 1,5 A, IP 54 (pressure force limitation).
- Anti-vandalism - the nameplate is dent and impact resistant, the plastic is flame retardant.
- Cable access: Ø 10.4 mm (right side). Invisible cable routing through the stand element.
- The stand elements are made of 42.4 mm V2A stainless steel 1.4301, ground for screw mounting or setting in concrete.
Important information
Camera or intercom preparation
The intercom systems must be connected by an electrician. Contact your trusted electrician for planning, installation and wiring.
Water protection
Mail is protected from moisture and contamination only when it is fully inserted and the flap is closed. In certain extreme weather conditions, water may nevertheless enter (according to DIN EN 13724 up to 1ccm). This is not a reason for complaint.

The Comelit complete set in detail
The (video) intercom sets from COMELIT are simply connected using 2-wire technology. This means that the existing lines can be used and there are no additional costs for laying new lines and plaster or painting work. Simply lay 2 wires from the new power supply unit in the meter cabinet to the built-in loudspeaker or to the video loudspeaker in the function box of the mailbox system, as well as 2 wires from the power supply unit to the door station in the apartment. DONE. For the WiFi function of the home station 6741W, a WLAN within range is required.

After your production approval, your letterbox will be individually manufactured and delivered conveniently by parcel post. The customer service does not end here either, with coordinated packaging we ensure that the stainless steel letterboxes, letterbox systems, bells and lights are delivered to you in perfect condition. And if you do not like a product you have bought or something is not to your liking, you do not take any risks with us as a consumer. You can return our products within two weeks.
Variability through individual production
Every product at the Briefkasten Manufaktur is a unique product and is only handcrafted for you after you have placed your order. As a result, many of our products can already be ordered directly in the shop with endless adjustments. This is possible due to the modular structure, the flexible prefabrication, warehousing and logistics. Individual components are already prefabricated, so that in some cases very short delivery times can be achieved.
