The modern 6-unit GOETHE through-wall letterbox is ideal for discerning entrance areas. Its clean, linear design gives this letterbox a particularly elegant appearance. The variable shaft length of 300 mm to 390 mm or 390 mm to 560 mm allows this letterbox to be installed in almost any masonry.

The dimensions of the individual compartments provide a capacity of approx. 24–44 litres; the large letter slot ensures that DIN C4 envelopes and magazines, or accumulated mail after several days' absence, are not creased. The internal mail is optimally protected from the weather by the drip edge. The insertion flap is fitted with high-quality axle dampers, guaranteeing quiet closing and preventing annoying rattling caused by the weather. The interchangeable plexiglass nameplates can be conveniently accessed from the front; for an optimal appearance we recommend the flush-mounted nameplate with laser engraving (see Accessories). The second nameplate is supplied with an "Advertising Yes/No" insert.

The GOETHE collection letterbox systems are characterised by the consistent use of stainless steel. The result is very high durability and sustainability. The construction has been developed by our own engineers with a view to high flexibility and modularity, easy spare-part assembly and straightforward self-installation. Spare parts for all GOETHE systems are available directly in our shop.

The letterboxes comply with DIN/EN 13724. Letter slot size (3.5 cm x 36.0 cm) for C4 landscape; large letters fit without bending.
Letter slots & access doors made of stainless steel V2A 1.4301, powder-coated in RAL colour of your choice.
Letters are inserted and retrieved from the front. Insertion flap fitted with high-quality axle dampers for very quiet deposit of mail.
Access doors open from top to bottom, preventing your mail from falling out.
Plexiglass nameplates for name labelling and a second nameplate with "Advertising Yes/No" per unit.
Plaster-cover frame made of stainless steel angle profile 25 x 58 mm, powder-coated in RAL colour.
Variable shaft length 300–390 mm or 390–560 mm. External dimensions of the mail-through shaft W 380 mm x H 180 mm.
External dimensions front W 450 mm x H 1050 mm; rear W 450 mm x H 1050 mm.

Important information:

To achieve optimal protection of your mail from water, the letterbox or letterbox system should, where possible, be situated under an overhang.

Mail is only protected from water when it is placed completely inside the box and the insertion flap is closed. Partially inserted mail allows moisture and dirt to enter the letterbox. This system is protected against water ingress according to DIN EN 13724. Water ingress is not a valid reason for a complaint.

Is the GOETHE® collection available in the configurator?

The GOETHE® mailbox is available in all installation options offered by Briefkasten Manufaktur. The GOETHE® mailbox can be configured as a wall-mounted or as a freestanding mailbox. In the wall-mounted version, the mounting options through-wall, recessed (flush-mounted) and surface-mounted are available. In the freestanding version, the mounting options pedestal or freestanding elements are available. All variants can be created in the Mailbox Configurator.
