Protect what you love. The Gira Alarm Connect security system offers all-round protection in the home and thus ensures a secure feeling. It is made up of several components: the Connect alarm central unit, the radio operating unit, glass breakage and motion detectors, magnetic contacts for windows and doors, and sirens for inside and outside. With the Gira wireless smoke alarm device, the system can also be expanded with fire protection. The "internally armed" option ensures a restful night. When you leave your home, the security system switches on with the "externally armed" command input. Thanks to radio technology, it can be retrofitted without any construction work.

Inside the house, the Gira Alarm Connect security system is conveniently operated via the wireless operating unit. The self-explanatory display shows you the status of the included security components in your home. If you wish to adjust your security settings, this can be done quickly and easily. Likewise, if you have a medical problem, you can use it to send a service call.

The system can be installed in different stages parallel to the construction progress. For example, it is possible to install only the lower part of the surface-mounted housing during the shell construction phase; lines and modules can then be added when they are needed.

• Central unit for the new Gira Alarm Connect security system. Can be used in private and small commercial areas. Can be integrated into Gira KNX installations via Gira X1 or KNX IP router.
• Clean installation due to wireless connection of system components.
• Convenient to configure with the Gira Project Assistant, GPA.
• Allows remote access (with protected data traffic) via Internet, Gira S1 and Gira Smart Home App.
• Up to 64 system devices can be used, for burglary, glass breakage, motion and emergency detectors.

• Display and acknowledge alarms and status messages.

• Manually trigger alarm (e.g. panic alarm) by entering code.

• Notes: Complies with EN 50131 Class 2 standard. For indoor installation only. One control unit is required per fuse zone. When using the power supply unit or the door module, the device carrier must be used. Use of door module only with power supply.

• Motion detection by passive infrared sensor (PIR).
• Animal immunity.
• Integrated sabotage protection.
• Notes: Complies with EN 50131 class 2 standard. For indoor installation only. Mounting height affects the motion detector's detection range (follow instructions for use).

1 x Radio magnetic contact, 5241 16

• The radio magnetic contact uses integrated reed contacts to wirelessly monitor doors and windows for opening and closing.
• The narrow design allows mounting even in narrow places in the door and window area.
• Integrated sabotage contact.
• Notes: Complies with EN 50131 class 2 standard. For indoor installation only. For VdS-compliant installation, connection of a wired reed contact (VdS) to the radio magnetic contact is mandatory. The 200 kΩ resistor must be connected in series to the external contact.

• For acoustic alarming in the indoor area.
• Signal tone volume approx. 90 dB(A).
• Integrated sabotage protection.
• Notes: Complies with EN 50131 class 2 standard. For indoor installation only. Metal materials (e.g. cover frames) may impair radio reception.
