Gira TKS-IP gateway for mobile door communication - 5 licenses

The Gira TKS-IP gateway makes the operation of door communication even more convenient and flexible. With a single device, the door intercom can be connected via the network to the smartphone, tablet or computer as well as to the Gira G1 or the Gira Control Clients. The devices become communication centers and can be used wherever a network connection or WLAN is available. The TKS IP gateway is installed as a DRA device in the control cabinet and converts the signals of the Gira door communication system to network protocol level (IP). Commissioning is simple via web interface. When accessed on the move, communication is encrypted via the integrated Secure Data Access, which is also used with the Gira S1.

TKS mobile

On the move or in the home WLAN: With Gira TKS mobil, Gira delivers a real highlight for mobile access to the door intercom. Communication from iOS and Android smartphones with the TKS IP gateway is encrypted thanks to integrated Secure Data Access. This guarantees maximum security.

Features

Early Media, group calls and the award-winning Gira interface design ensure that you know who is at the door even when you are on the move. In the first version, images are updated twice a second. Thanks to Early Media, you can see who is standing in front of the door before the call begins. Unwanted calls are thus a thing of the past.

Easy setup

The setup is done as usual via the web browser of the TKS-IP gateway. In addition, registration and assignment via the Gira Portal is required. No audio or video files are stored. Thanks to the Gira TKS app, door calls can be seen on the mobile device, you can speak and open the door directly if desired. If the app is not active in the background, e.g. after a restart of the mobile device, the door call still reaches the user. Push notification is used to notify the user of the pending door call even when the Gira TKS app is "inactive/closed". This also increases the battery power of the mobile end device. The mobile end device does not need to be unlocked to accept the door call.

TKS Communicator

• With the "TKS-Communicator" software, commercially available computers as well as PC-based operating devices, such as the Gira Control 9 Client or the Gira Control 19 Client, can be used as a home station via the network connection.
• The TKS-Communicator offers all the functions of a video home station, such as accepting calls, switching lights (in conjunction with a switching actuator) or opening doors.
• The following operating systems are supported by the TKS-Communicator: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Mac OS X 10.6.
• The connection to the HomeServer or FacilityServer via a PlugIn enables the display in the Gira Interface.
• via logic modules, the realization of new application possibilities, such as access control via the Gira Keyless In products, is possible.
