High-quality manufactured fence mailbox free-standing from the mailbox manufactory with bell box for intercom (optional camera) and closed newspaper compartment, to be operated with a toggle lock.
The successful BASIC collection as a fence mailbox. The insertion is on the front side, the residents can remove the mail and newspaper on the back side.
The mailbox is made entirely of stainless steel V2A 1.4301, 240 grain ground. The very high quality workmanship and the sophisticated concept make this free-standing letterbox our top seller. A rain drainage edge for optimal water protection, a continuous rubber lip for quiet insertion, the solid interchangeable name plate, a practical mail retaining bracket and the very robust lock distinguish this free-standing letterbox. The side panel with protruding rain cover made of stainless steel V2A offers optimal protection against the weather and guarantees a very high durability.
The letterboxes of the BASIC Plus collection are characterized by the consistent use of stainless steel V2A. The result is a very high durability and sustainability. The design has been developed by our own engineers with a view to high flexibility or modularity, easy spare parts assembly and uncomplicated self-assembly. Spare parts are directly available for all BASIC Plus systems.

- Newspaper box with door and toggle lock made of stainless steel V2A 1.4301, 240 grain ground. Dimensions: 355x165x100mm. Laser inscription in contrasting color "ZEITUNG".
- The letterbox complies with DIN/EN 13724. Insertion size (3.5 cm x 32.5 cm) for C4 crosswise, large letters also fit in here without bending.
- Insertion flap with noise-damping rubber seal for very quiet insertion of mail.
- The mail is inserted from the front and removed from the back.
- The door can be opened from left to right.
- Incl. 2 keys with key number, changeable name plate (type 2) under the access flap and mail retaining bracket.

Camera or intercom preparation
The intercom systems must be connected by an electrician. Contact your trusted electrician for planning, installation and wiring.
Water protection
Mail is protected from moisture and contamination only when it is fully inserted and the flap is closed. In certain extreme weather conditions, water may nevertheless enter (according to DIN EN 13724 up to 1ccm). This is not a reason for complaint.

The Comelit complete set in detail
The (video) intercom sets from COMELIT are simply connected using 2-wire technology. This means that the existing lines can be used and there are no additional costs for laying new lines and plaster or painting work. Simply lay 2 wires from the new power supply unit in the meter cabinet to the built-in loudspeaker or to the video loudspeaker in the function box of the mailbox system, as well as 2 wires from the power supply unit to the door station in the apartment. DONE. For the WiFi function of the home station 6741W, a WLAN within range is required.

But our customer service does not end with your order: After your order, you will receive a design drawing by email as a PDF, so that your requirements can be realised down to the last detail. Your requirements will be dealt with in detail, usually even special requests that go beyond our range of configurations can be realised. After your production approval, your letterbox will be individually manufactured and delivered conveniently by parcel post. The customer service does not end here either, with coordinated packaging we ensure that the stainless steel letterboxes, letterbox systems, bells and lights are delivered to you in perfect condition. And if you do not like a product you have bought or something is not to your liking, you do not take any risks with us as a consumer. You can return our products within two weeks.
Variability through individual production
Every product at the Briefkasten Manufaktur is a unique product and is only handcrafted for you after you have placed your order. As a result, many of our products can already be ordered directly in the shop with endless adjustments. This is possible due to the modular structure, the flexible prefabrication, warehousing and logistics. Individual components are already prefabricated, so that in some cases very short delivery times can be achieved.
