Since 2003, Briefkasten Manufaktur in Bad Salzuflen (Lippe) has been manufacturing outdoor mailboxes and mailbox systems. The range includes, among others, freestanding mailboxes, surface-mounted and flush-mounted mailboxes, security mailboxes and fence-mounted mailboxes – with a focus on durable materials such as stainless steel.
You can use the 3D mailbox configurator to select and configure your products. In addition, we provide technical advice for bespoke items and the integration of suitable components (e.g. doorbell, intercom or camera – depending on the system and specification). If required, an installation service is also available for larger projects.
Handcrafted mailbox manufacture
High-quality materials (typically stainless steel and aluminium) and careful workmanship form the basis for durable mailboxes and mailbox systems. Depending on the design, powder coatings in modern colours such as anthracite, grey or white are possible. At our Bad Salzuflen site, we also manufacture mailbox systems for multi-occupancy buildings – optionally equipped with features such as a doorbell/intercom, camera, newspaper compartment, house number, fingerprint reader or LED lighting.

All products are manufactured at our production facility in Bad Salzuflen, Germany, and in the production facilities of our partner companies by dedicated employees. This results in unique pieces with high standards of design and quality that often last a lifetime.
When selecting the right material, the Briefkasten Manufaktur likewise places the greatest importance on quality. Stainless steel meets all requirements exceptionally well, offering very high corrosion resistance and a consistently striking surface finish. Stainless steel is therefore the Briefkasten Manufaktur's first choice for the manufacture of mailboxes & mailbox systems. Quality assurance begins with the selection of raw-material suppliers and continues until the stainless-steel mailboxes and mailbox systems reach the customer in the required quality.
The Briefkasten Manufaktur uses only systems, components & individual parts from renowned German manufacturers and from its own production.
Letterbox systems: flexible & fast
Current trends, such as the letterbox in anthracite grey, are regularly incorporated into our existing products or give rise to entirely new items. Classics such as the letterbox in white are, of course, available in many variants. Briefkasten Manufaktur consistently develops its product range and regularly introduces new products.
With our 1,500 m² storage area and flexible production at our Bad Salzuflen site, Briefkasten Manufaktur offers a wide selection of post boxes and letterboxes, freestanding letterboxes and letterbox systems within a few working days. Most letterboxes can be configured so that the height of the pedestal elements, the lock side, the letterbox depth and the material or colour can be adjusted.
A wide range of accessories can also be integrated, such as a doorbell, house number, intercom, newspaper compartment, rain hood, additional doorbell buttons, illuminated push buttons or an engraving of the house number or name. Briefkasten Manufaktur’s letterbox systems set standards both technologically and in terms of design.
