3-post stainless steel surface-mounted letterbox design BASIC Plus 382XA AP with bell box - stainless steel V2A
High-quality surface-mounted letterbox for 3 parties made in Germany by Briefkasten Manufaktur.
The letterbox is made entirely of V2A stainless steel, polished. The very high-quality workmanship and the well thought-out concept make this letter box our top seller. A rain drainage edge for optimum water protection, a continuous rubber lip for quiet insertion, the solid interchangeable nameplate, a practical post holder and the very robust lock characterise this surface-mounted letterbox.
The letterbox systems in the BASIC Plus collection are characterised by the consistent use of V2A stainless steel. The result is a very long service life and sustainability. The design has been developed by our own engineers with a view to high flexibility and modularity, simple spare parts assembly and uncomplicated self-assembly. Spare parts are directly available for all BASIC Plus systems.
Thanks to the design, self-assembly is uncomplicated. The letterbox system is prepared for uncomplicated complete assembly, so there is no need for time-consuming wall mounting of individual boxes.
- 3-post surface-mounted letterbox made of weather-resistant stainless steel V2A 1.4301, 240 grain polished
- The letterbox is manufactured by Briefkasten Manufaktur. German quality production "Made in Germany".
- The letter box complies with DIN/EN 13724. Insertion size (3.5 cm x 32.5 cm) for C4 landscape, large letters also fit in here without creasing.
- Insertion flap with sound-absorbing rubber seal for very quiet insertion of mail.
- The door can be opened from left to right.
- Incl. 2 keys with key number, changeable name plate under the flap and post holder for each letterbox.
- Large capacity thanks to optional letterbox depth +50 mm = approx. 17 litres. Suitable for companies and households with very high mail volumes.

- Intercom perforation with universal adapter. (Intercom system/ built-in loudspeaker not included in the scope of delivery). Also available without speech perforation.
- Universal adapter is suitable for all commercially available built-in loudspeakers (Siedle, Ritto, TCS, Busch-Jäger, Gira, Legrand Bticino, ELCOM, Auerswald, Comelit and many more).
- Round stainless steel bell push button type: Grothe Protact, max. 24 V AC/DC, 1.5 A, IP 54 (pressure force limitation).
- Anti-vandalism - The nameplate is indentation-proof and impact-resistant, the plastic is flame-retardant.
- For wall mounting incl. mounting rail and fixing material (screws + plugs).
Optional components
The COMELIT video intercom sets are completely pre-wired and programmed by us, so the set is ready for connection. Just plug in 2 wires!
COMELIT intercom sets are easily connected using 2-wire technology. This means that the existing wiring can be used and there are no additional costs for new wiring, plastering or painting work. Simply lay 2 wires from the new power supply unit in the meter cupboard to the built-in loudspeaker in the function box of the letterbox system and 2 wires from the power supply unit to the door station in the flat. DONE.

Face recognition and voice commands
Integration with Amazon Alexa, available free of charge via Mini Wi-Fi, is the incredible innovation that led to the creation of the first voice-controlled video intercom. This can also be activated remotely. We already know that the phone can be unlocked at a glance. Why shouldn't it also be possible to open the gate to the house? Comelit is fully utilising the potential of the cloud and is the first company in Germany to offer the new face recognition function: an intuitive and very useful way to manage access to your home via the video intercom.
The functions
- Receive calls from the door station wherever you are.
- View recordings from the cameras in your system (including the door station cameras).
- Retrieve video messages from visitors recorded during your absence.
- Call the internal devices in your system (internal audio and video intercoms).
- Open gates and doors and switch on the lights.
- The APP is based on PUSH notifications; this means considerable energy and data savings as the APP is only activated when a call is received, and much more.
Video intercom set
- Door station 6741W with mobile function
- Colour monitor with 4.3" 16/9 screen, full-duplex hands-free function and touch-sensitive buttons. Allows brightness and contrast control and adjustment of the audio signal strength and ringtone. Several melodies are available to personalise the ringtone. Equipped as standard with buttons for door opener, for activating/deactivating the speech connection with corresponding LED indicators. Door station with Wi-Fi interface to simulate presence at home: in combination with the COMELIT app, door calls can be answered from anywhere and doors and gates can be opened. Face recognition for contactless access is possible with the COMELIT app. Dimensions: 160 x 115 x 22 mm (WD).

- Colour audio-video unit for 2-wire system, complete with front-adjustable, LED-illuminated colour camera. Equipped with terminal block, speech connection with echo cancellation, dustproof and waterproof loudspeaker, electret microphone and adjustable loudspeaker volume on the front. Important information
Camera or intercom preparation
The intercom systems must be connected by an electrician. Please contact your trusted electrician for planning, fitting and installation.
Water protection
The mail is only protected against moisture and dirt when it is fully inserted and the flap is closed. Under certain extreme weather conditions, water may still enter (up to 1ccm according to DIN EN 13724). This is not a reason for complaint.

But our customer service doesn't end with your order: After your order, you may receive a design drawing by email as a PDF to realise your wishes down to the last detail. Your wishes will be considered in detail and, as a rule, even special requests that go beyond our configuration offer can be realised. After your production approval, your letterbox is customised and conveniently delivered by parcel post. Our customer service does not end here either, we ensure that the stainless steel letterboxes, letterbox systems, doorbells and lights are delivered to you in perfect condition with customised packaging.
And if you don't like a product you have purchased or something is not to your liking, as a consumer you run no risk with us. You can return our products within two weeks.

Every product at Briefkasten Manufaktur is customised and is only made by hand for you after you place your order. Many of our products can therefore be ordered directly in the shop with countless customisations. This is possible thanks to the modular structure, flexible prefabrication, warehousing and logistics. Individual components are already prefabricated so that very short delivery times can be achieved in some cases.

Our letterbox systems are supplied with detailed and easy-to-understand documentation and assembly aids and are usually fully assembled within a very short time.
