High-quality flush-mounted letterbox with video intercom system in flush-mounted design. The modern GOETHE letterbox is ideal for the sophisticated entrance area. The dimensions of the individual box allow for a capacity of approx. 16 or 32 litres, while the large slot guarantees no crumpled mail, even with DIN C4 envelopes and magazines or after several days of absence. The innovative push-key lock is concealed inside the letterbox. The key is simply inserted into the existing opening (no turning required) and the door opens. With the arrangement of the Lock, this letterbox is designed so that the removal door prevents the mail from falling towards you. The water drainage edge ensures that the mail inside is optimally protected from the weather. The insertion flap is fitted with high-quality axle dampers, guaranteeing quiet closing and preventing annoying rattling caused by the weather.
The letterbox systems in the GOETHE collection are characterised by the consistent use of stainless steel. The result is a very long service life and sustainability. The design has been developed by our own engineers with a view to high flexibility and modularity, simple spare parts assembly and uncomplicated self-assembly. Spare parts for all GOETHE systems are available directly in our shop.

Camera or intercom preparation
The intercom systems must be connected by an electrician. Please contact your trusted electrician for planning, fitting and installation.
Water protection
To achieve optimum water protection for your mail, the letterbox or letterbox system should be located under a canopy if possible.
The mail is only protected from water if it is fully inserted in the box and the flap is closed. Mail that is not fully inserted allows moisture and dirt to enter the letterbox. This system is protected against the ingress of water in accordance with DIN EN 13724. Water ingress is not a reason for complaint.

Is the GOETHE® collection available in the configurator?
The GOETHE® letterbox is available in all installation variants offered by Briefkasten Manufaktur. The GOETHE® letterbox is available as a wall-mounted letterbox and as a free-standing letterbox. The wall-mounted, flush-mounted and surface-mounted versions are available. In the free-standing version, the mounting variants pedestal or free-standing elements are possible. The highlights: Face recognition and voice control
With Comelit's innovative face recognition, you can open your front door at a glance - without a key, transponder or app operation. The function is available free of charge and increases the convenience and security of your home.
The app also offers integration with Amazon Alexa, allowing you to control your Comelit video door intercom system using voice commands - for example, to open the door or display the camera image. It can be set up in just a few steps, without any specialist knowledge.
The (video) intercom sets from COMELIT are available in two modern connection variants:2-wire technology and ViP (IP technology). Both systems impress with their high flexibility, simple installation and future-proof network integration.
2-wire technology - ideal for refurbishment and retrofitting
The 2-wire systems from COMELIT are simply connected via existing lines. This means that existing doorbell or intercom lines can continue to be used - without additional costs for laying new lines, plastering or painting work. Only two wires run from the power supply unit (power supply unit 1209 included) in the meter cupboard to the built-in loudspeaker or video loudspeaker in the function box of the letterbox system and two wires from the power supply unit to the home station in the flat or to the gateway in the distribution box. Allthat is required for the WiFi function of the home station is a WLAN within range. The gateway 1406A is connected to the Internet via the Ethernet port.

ViP system (IP technology) - maximum flexibility and integration
As an alternative to 2-wire technology, COMELIT offers ViP (Video over IP) technology, a modern, fully digital system based on Ethernet. This type of connection is ideal for new buildings, complex building structures or if seamless integration into existing network or building control systems is required.
All functions - from door communication and video surveillance to remote control - can be managed easily and securely via the local network or the Internet. Thanks to PoE (Power over Ethernet), a single network cable is sufficient for data transmission and power supply. The ViP systems are scalable, support a wide range of end devices and can be controlled with the COMELIT app via the smart gateway or the Wifi door station.

The COMELIT app functions
With the Comelit app, you can enjoy maximum convenience and flexibility in door communication. You can receive calls from the video door station anywhere - at home, in the garden, on the move or at work. The app connects your door intercom to your smartphone or tablet and enables intuitive, secure control of your entrance area.
The most important functions
- Receive calls anywhere: Receive visitor calls from your video door station - wherever you are.
- Internal communication: Make calls between the indoor stations connected to the system - just like with an intercom system.
- Video recordings: Missed calls are automatically recorded as video. You can also view live images from the cameras in your system.
- Access control: Open gates or doors directly via the app - conveniently with a tap, voice command or facial recognition.
- Automation: Activate automatic access functions to allow registered persons access - for example, by facial recognition at the door station.
- Energy efficiency through push notifications: The app is only activated when there is an incoming call. This significantly reduces battery and data consumption.
The Comelit app is available for both iOS and Android and is compatible with all current Comelit video door intercom systems.

There are several countries that have banned certain manufacturers of video surveillance systems from entering the market. These include the United States, which prohibits government contractors from procuring telecommunications or video surveillance equipment, systems, or services (or a major component thereof) manufactured or supplied by some of the largest manufacturers and their subsidiaries and affiliates through Section 889 of the John ____0__ National Defense Authorisation Act.

Briefkasten Manufaktur only uses systems, components and individual parts from well-known manufacturers in Germany. But our customer service doesn't end with your order: After your order, you may receive a construction drawing by email as a PDF to realise your wishes down to the last detail. Your wishes will be considered in detail and even special requests that go beyond our configuration offer can be realised. After your production approval, your letterbox is customised and conveniently delivered by parcel post. Our customer service does not end here either, we ensure that the stainless steel letterboxes, letterbox systems, doorbells and lights are delivered to you in perfect condition with customised packaging.
And if you don't like a product you have purchased or something is not to your liking, as a consumer you run no risk with us. You can return our products within two weeks.

Individual components are already prefabricated so that very short delivery times can be achieved in some cases.
