Design surface-mounted letterbox GOETHE® AP with newspaper compartment - RAL of your choice - doorbell intercom box
High-quality surface-mounted letterbox with newspaper compartment and bell/intercom box in flush-mounted design. The modern GOETHE® letterbox is ideal for the sophisticated entrance area. The linear design without a visible lock makes this letterbox look particularly elegant. The individually configurable bell intercom box is available with a flush-mounted bell button, a nameplate or labelling in combination with your desired intercom preparation (built-in loudspeaker not included) and/or camera preparation.
The dimensions of the individual box allow a capacity of approx. 16 litres, the large insertion slot guarantees no crumpled mail even with DIN C4 envelopes and magazines or after several days of absence. The innovative push-key lock is concealed inside the letterbox. The key is simply inserted into the existing opening (no turning required) and the door opens. With the arrangement of the lock, this letterbox is designed in such a way that the removal door prevents the mail from falling towards you. The water drainage edge ensures that the mail inside is optimally protected from the weather. The insertion flap is fitted with high-quality axle dampers, guaranteeing quiet closing and preventing annoying rattling caused by the weather.
The surface-mounted letterbox systems in the GOETHE® collection are characterised by the consistent use of stainless steel and aluminium. The result is a very long service life and sustainability. The design has been developed by our own engineers with a view to high flexibility and modularity, simple spare parts assembly and uncomplicated self-assembly. Spare parts for all GOETHE® systems are available directly in our shop.
Thanks to the design, self-assembly is uncomplicated.

- Newspaper compartment (BH 400x200mm) made of stainless steel 1.4016 (stainless magnetic stainless steel), powder-coated in RAL of your choice with stainless steel laser inscription "ZEITUNG" (font ARIAL, if name/house number, then the same as your chosen font).
- Newspaper compartment can be opened from bottom to top.
- Functional box (BH 400x200mm) made of stainless steel 1.4016 (non-rusting magnetic stainless steel), powder-coated in RAL colour of your choice.
- Choice of replaceable stainless steel nameplate with laser inscription, nameplate made of Plexi or illuminated direct inscription.
- 8-12V DC short-stroke bell push with LED ring lighting (blue, white, red or green). The bell button lighting cannot be supplied via the control unit. It must be connected to an additional 8-12 V DC power supply.
- An 8-12 V DC short-stroke light button with pictogram is available as an option.
- Preparation (built-in loudspeaker not included) for intercom system possible.
- Optionally with universal adapter for all commercially available built-in loudspeakers.
- Optional preparation (camera not included in scope of delivery) for a camera.
- Optimum rain protection thanks to rain guard edges and a rain canopy made of 3 mm aluminium AlMg3 W19, powder-coated in RAL of your choice.

Important information
Camera or call station preparation
We recommend that the electrical installation is always carried out by an electrician.
We offer the preparation of intercom stations from various manufacturers for our letterboxes. The preparation does not include any end devices, but only the provision of screw mounts, drill holes and perforations. This means that you can install your end device without any problems.
Water protection
To achieve optimum water protection for your mail, the letterbox or letterbox system should be located under a canopy if possible.
The mail is only protected from water if it is fully inserted in the box and the flap is closed. Mail that is not fully inserted allows moisture and dirt to enter the letterbox. This system is protected against the ingress of water in accordance with DIN EN 13724. Water ingress is not a reason for complaint.

Is the GOETHE® collection available in the configurator?
The GOETHE® letterbox is available in all mounting variants offered by Briefkasten Manufaktur. This means the GOETHE® letterbox is offered both as a wall-mounted and as a freestanding letterbox. In the wall-mounted version the mounting options are through-the-wall, flush-mounted and surface-mounted. In the freestanding version the mounting options are a pedestal (Stele) or freestanding elements. All variants can be created in the Letterbox Configurator.

At Briefkasten Manufaktur you can already order your letterbox, freestanding letterbox or your letterbox system with countless customisations directly in the shop! Briefkasten Manufaktur uses exclusively systems, components & spare parts from well-known manufacturers in Germany. But our customer service does not end with your order: after your order you will, where applicable, receive a construction drawing by email as a PDF to realise your wishes down to the last detail. Your requirements are addressed in detail; as a rule, even special requests that go beyond our configuration options can be implemented. After you approve production, your letterbox will be custom-made and conveniently delivered by parcel post. Customer service does not end here either; through appropriate packaging we ensure that the stainless-steel letterboxes, letterbox systems, doorbells and lights are delivered to you in perfect condition.
If a product you have purchased does not suit you or is not as you expected, you, as a consumer, take no risk with us. You may return our products within two weeks.

Every product at the Briefkasten Manufaktur is made-to-order and is only handcrafted for you after you place your order. Many of our products can therefore already be ordered directly in our shop with countless customisation options. This is made possible by the modular design, flexible prefabrication, warehousing and logistics. Individual components are already prefabricated, meaning that in some cases very short delivery times can be achieved.
Easy installation thanks to well-thought-out designs
Our letterbox systems are supplied with comprehensive, easy-to-understand documentation and/or assembly aids and can usually be fully assembled in a very short time.
