Security pillar letterbox type 174 - polished stainless steel

The security free-standing letterbox type 174 is a high-quality pillar solution made of polished stainless steel V2A (1.4301) with increased security standards. It was designed for demanding areas of use where the focus is on both sensitive mail volumes and protection against unauthorised access.

The use of robust V2A stainless steel with a thick wall and front (5 mm / 2.5 mm) ensures that this letterbox is significantly more resistant than standard models. The design provides reliable protection against tampering or external pressure. In addition, the removal door can be opened from left to right and is equipped with toothed plates and steel pins to prevent unauthorised removal - an important security feature in a professional environment.

The ABUS profile half cylinder (30/10) enables secure locking and can be easily replaced with another profile cylinder - for example from an existing locking system - if required. With a weight of approx. 41 kg, the letterbox offers additional stability and break-in security.

Important information:

To achieve optimum water protection for your mail, the letterbox or letterbox system should be located under a canopy if possible.

The mail is only protected from water if it is fully inserted in the box and the flap is closed. Mail that is not fully inserted allows moisture and dirt to enter the letterbox. This system is protected against the ingress of water in accordance with DIN EN 13724. Water ingress is not a reason for complaint.
