The security free-standing letterbox type 184 is a high-quality pillar solution made of polished stainless steel V2A (1.4301) with an integrated transfer slot. It was specially developed for professional use in security-relevant areas such as banks, savings banks or financial institutions. Thanks to its solid construction, precise workmanship and sophisticated security mechanisms, this letterbox fulfils the highest requirements in terms of protection, durability and functionality.

The letterbox column is made entirely from solid stainless steel and has a material thickness of 5 mm on the front and 2.5 mm on the body. This robust construction offers high resistance to break-in attempts, tampering and external influences. The removal door opens from left to right and is equipped with toothed plates and steel pins to reliably prevent unauthorised removal of the mail.

The transfer slot has an additional inner taper and a hinged rake that makes it virtually impossible to pull out inserted documents. This ensures the secure delivery of sensitive documents - ideal for banks and institutions with high security requirements. With a weight of approx. 41 kg, the letterbox also offers outstanding stability and break-in resistance.

Even though the classic bank transfer slip is used less frequently these days, the need for secure posting options for physical documents remains. Banks and financial institutions use the type 184 for the secure posting of forms, contracts, authorisations or key sets - especially outside opening hours or in self-service areas.

Important information:

To achieve optimum water protection for your mail, the letterbox or letterbox system should be located under a canopy if possible.

The mail is only protected from water if it is fully inserted in the box and the flap is closed. Mail that is not fully inserted allows moisture and dirt to enter the letterbox. This system is protected against the ingress of water in accordance with DIN EN 13724. Water ingress is not a reason for complaint.
