2-fold free-standing letterbox BASIC 381-K7016 with bell intercom
Modern free-standing letterbox for 2 parties made in Germany by Briefkasten Manufaktur.
The letterboxes are made of galvanised steel, powder-coated in anthracite grey RAL 7016, the stand elements are made of weather-resistant stainless steel V2A, polished. The very high-quality workmanship and the well thought-out concept make this letterbox system our top seller. A rain drainage edge for optimum water protection, a continuous rubber lip for quiet insertion, the solid interchangeable nameplate, a practical post holder and the very robust lock characterise this free-standing letterbox. This letterbox is easy to clean and robust.
Thanks to the design, self-assembly is uncomplicated.
- 2-post letter box made of galvanised steel, powder-coated in anthracite grey RAL 7016
- The system is manufactured by Briefkasten Manufaktur. German quality production "Made in Germany".
- The letterboxes comply with DIN/EN 13724. Insertion size (3.5 cm x 32.5 cm) for C4 landscape, large letters also fit in here without creasing.
- Insertion flaps with sound-absorbing rubber seal for very quiet mail insertion.
- The doors can be opened from left to right.
- Incl. 2 keys with key number, changeable name plate under the flap and post holder for each letterbox.
- Large capacity thanks to optional letterbox depth +50 mm = approx. 17 litres. Suitable for companies and households with very high mail volumes.
- Includes close-fitting rain cover for optimum weather protection.
- Intercom bell part made of galvanised steel, powder-coated in anthracite grey RAL 7016
- Intercom hole with universal adapter. (Intercom system/ built-in loudspeaker not included in the scope of delivery). Also available without speech perforation.
- Universal adapter is suitable for all commercially available built-in loudspeakers (Siedle, Ritto, TCS, Busch-Jäger, Gira, Legrand Bticino, ELCOM, Auerswald, Comelit and many more).
- 2x round stainless steel bell push-buttons, max. switching capacity: 5A @ 250V AC, IP 65 (pressure force limitation).
- Anti-vandalism - The nameplate is indentation-proof and impact-resistant, the plastic is flame-retardant.
- Cable access: Ø 10.4 mm (on the right-hand side). Invisible cable routing through the stand element.
- The stand elements are made of 42.4 mm V2A stainless steel 1.4301, polished for screw mounting or setting in concrete.
Important information
Camera or intercom preparation
The intercom systems must be connected by an electrician. Please contact your trusted electrician for planning, fitting and installation.
Water protection
The mail is only protected against moisture and dirt when it is fully inserted and the flap is closed. Under certain extreme weather conditions, water can still enter (up to 1ccm according to DIN EN 13724). This is not a reason for complaint.

But our customer service does not end with your order: after placing your order you will, where applicable, receive a technical drawing by email as a PDF to realise your wishes down to the last detail. Your wishes are addressed in detail; as a rule, even special requests that go beyond our configuration options can be accommodated. After you approve production, your letterbox will be custom-made and conveniently delivered by parcel. Even here the customer service does not end: we ensure with tailored packaging that the stainless-steel letterboxes, letterbox systems, doorbells and lights are delivered to you in perfect condition.
And if you are ever dissatisfied with a purchased product, or if something is not to your liking, as a consumer you run no risk with us. You can return our products within two weeks.

Every product at Briefkasten Manufaktur is made to order and is handcrafted for you only after you place your order. As a result, many of our products can already be ordered directly in our shop with countless customisations. This is made possible by the modular design, flexible prefabrication, warehousing and logistics. Individual components are already prefabricated, allowing very short delivery times in some cases.
Easy installation thanks to well-thought-out designs
Our mailbox systems are supplied with comprehensive, easy-to-follow documentation and assembly aids and are usually fully installed in a very short space of time.
