The flush-mounted, integrated 5-inch touch display with shatterproof glass forms the centrepiece of this innovative door station. It not only enables simple operation through intuitive user guidance, but also a wide range of customisation options: Whether company logo, welcome text or user-defined touch surfaces - the Ultra Touch offers almost unlimited customisation options. Visitors can gain direct access via touch panel, code module or RFID chip (COMELIT Fob). Thanks to the modern 2-wire technology, installation is quick, uncomplicated and requires no additional installation work - ideal for refurbishments and retrofits. Simply connect two existing wires and put the door station into operation. The integrated wide-angle camera (120° horizontal, 90° vertical) provides high-resolution images - supported by intelligent LED illumination with twilight sensor and infrared function, which ensures a clear view even in poor lighting conditions. The combination of digital microphone and hi-fi audio speakers guarantees excellent voice quality - even in the presence of ambient noise.
Equipped with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), the digital directory can be conveniently managed via the MyComelit app or the browser version - using a smartphone or PC, even wirelessly via Bluetooth. This enables particularly easy configuration on site, without opening the device or separate programming hardware. For additional flexibility in access control, the doorbell pillar offers a Wiegand output that can be used to integrate external systems from third-party providers. This makes the Ultra Touch a central component of your security and access solution.
Inside, the LS8741 home station impresses with its modern design and intuitive user interface. The system can be conveniently connected to the free COMELIT app via the integrated WiFi function. This not only allows you to receive video calls from the door station directly to your smartphone - no matter where you are - but also gives you access to live images from the cameras, stored video messages and allows you to open doors or gates remotely. Other smart functions such as face recognition and voice control via Amazon Alexa set new standards in intelligent home communication. Open your door without a key or app - just by looking at it. Integration is simple and requires no specialist knowledge.
The pedestal is made of 1.5 mm thick stainless steel V2A, powder-coated in your preferred RAL colour on request, and is available in either 1300 mm or 1600 mm height. The welded construction stands on a solid VA base plate, which ensures maximum stability and a clear, minimalist look. Invisible cable routing is possible through the body. The high-quality cover plate, which conceals all fixing screws and emphasises the high-quality appearance, is part of the installation.

- The speech part is made of 2 mm stainless steel V2A 1.4301, powder-coated in RAL colour. Dimensions: W 190 mm x H 640 mm x D 110 mm.
- Incl. 6x screw cover caps made of V2A stainless steel, polished so that the screws for fastening the front panel are not visible. See pictures.
- The fully welded pedestal is made of 1.5 mm V2A stainless steel, powder-coated. Construction height is either 1.30 m or 1.60 m.

Camera or intercom preparation
The intercom systems must be connected by an electrician. Please contact your trusted electrician for planning, fitting and installation.
Water protection
To achieve optimum water protection for your mail, the letterbox or letterbox system should be located under a canopy if possible.
The mail is only protected from water if it is fully inserted in the box and the flap is closed. Mail that is not fully inserted allows moisture and dirt to penetrate the letterbox. It is therefore necessary to plan sufficiently dimensioned letterboxes for the upcoming requirements. In certain extreme weather conditions, water can still enter (up to 1ccm according to DIN EN 13724). This is not a reason for complaint.

The (video) intercom sets from COMELIT are available in two modern connection variants:2-wire technology and ViP (IP technology). Both systems impress with their high flexibility, simple installation and future-proof network integration.
2-wire technology - ideal for refurbishment and retrofitting
The 2-wire systems from COMELIT are simply connected via existing lines. This means that existing doorbell or intercom lines can continue to be used - without additional costs for laying new lines, plastering or painting work. Only two wires run from the power supply unit (power supply unit 1209 included) in the meter cupboard to the built-in loudspeaker or video loudspeaker in the function box of the letterbox system and two wires from the power supply unit to the home station in the flat or to the gateway in the distribution box. Allthat is required for the WiFi function of the home station is a WLAN within range. The gateway 1406A is connected to the Internet via the Ethernet port.

As an alternative to 2-wire technology, COMELIT offers ViP (Video over IP) technology, a modern, fully digital system based on Ethernet. This type of connection is ideal for new buildings, complex building structures or when seamless integration into existing network or building control systems is required.
All functions - from door communication and video surveillance to remote control - can be managed easily and securely via the local network or the Internet. Thanks to PoE (Power over Ethernet), a single network cable is sufficient for data transmission and power supply. The ViP systems are scalable, support a wide range of end devices and can be controlled with the COMELIT app via the smart gateway or the Wifi door station.

You can receive calls from the video door station anywhere - at home, in the garden, on the move or at work. The app connects your door intercom to your smartphone or tablet and enables intuitive, secure control of your entrance area.
The most important functions
- Receive calls anywhere: Receive visitor calls from your video door station - wherever you are.
- Internal communication: Make calls between the indoor stations connected to the system - just like with an intercom system.
- Video recordings: Missed calls are automatically recorded as video. You can also view live images from the cameras in your system.
