High-quality recessed mailbox manufactured with newspaper compartment and seamlessly integrated Gira System 106 in a flush-mounted design. The modern GOETHE mailbox is ideal for demanding entrance areas. The clean-lined form without a visible lock gives this mailbox a particularly elegant appearance. Four Gira System modules are included, so the mailbox can be put into service immediately. The matching Gira apartment station and the control unit to complete this mailbox are included. The modules can be exchanged afterwards at will thanks to the simple retention system.

The dimensions of the single box allow a capacity of approx. 16 litres; the large entry ensures that C4 envelopes and magazines — and post received after several days away — do not arrive creased. The innovative Push-Key lock is hidden invisibly inside the mailbox. The key is simply inserted into the existing opening (no turning required) and the door opens. With the arrangement of the lock, this mailbox is designed so that the retrieval door prevents your post from falling out towards you. Thanks to the water drainage edge, the internal post is optimally protected from the weather. The entry flap is fitted with high-quality axis dampers, ensuring a quiet close and preventing rattling due to weather influences.

The mailbox systems of the GOETHE collection are characterised by the consistent use of stainless steel. The result is very high durability and sustainability. The construction has been developed by our own engineers with a focus on high flexibility and modularity, easy spare-part assembly and uncomplicated self-installation. Spare parts for all GOETHE systems are available directly in our shop.

Thanks to the construction method, self-installation is straightforward.

Behind the interchangeable black glass panel is a high-quality camera with high light sensitivity. Thanks to a detection angle of 100°, the user always has an overview of what is happening at their front door.

The GIRA fingerprint module as a professional biometric access control system based on next-generation area-scan technology. Commissioning and user management are carried out via the Gira Keyless In App.

Can be used as a stand-alone device with Gira TKS switching actuators or in combination with the Gira door communication system as a door call system for buildings with multiple residential units.
Scans the lowest layer of skin using high frequency. High detection rate and tamper resistance.
Evaluation of the unique characteristic features of the living human finger.

Power supply via 2-wire bus. Additional connection for ZV (e.g. required from the 3rd camera module).
All other System 106 modules (except the audio module) are supplied with power via the door station module.

Apartment station Gira Video AP 7 1209xx, included

Video apartment station with a 17.78 cm (7") TFT colour display and convenient hands-free function for surface-mounted installation or wall mounting with a flush-mounted device box or hollow-wall box. With the optional stand (see Accessories) also suitable for placement on furniture. A 32 GB SD memory card is included for internal image storage. Full-surface glass front with touch functionality and tactile feedback.

Control unit Video REG Gira 1288 00, included

Control unit for supplying the audio and video components of the Gira door communication bus.
Supply of the polarity-proof and short-circuit-proof 2-wire bus when using video components such as colour camera and TFT colour display.
Up to 2 door stations with colour camera and 28 apartment stations with TFT colour display can be supplied via the video control unit.
A total of up to 15 colour cameras can be controlled by the video control unit (5 video door stations and 10 TKS camera gateways), of which two door stations with colour cameras can be supplied with power by the video control unit. The intercom systems must be connected by an electrician. For planning, installation and commissioning, please contact the electrician of your choice.

Water protection

To achieve optimal water protection for your post, the mailbox or mailbox system should, if possible, be located under a canopy.

Items of post are only protected from water if they are placed completely inside the box and the entry flap is closed. Post that is not fully inserted allows moisture and dirt to enter the mailbox. This system is protected against water ingress according to DIN EN 13724. Water ingress is not a basis for a complaint.

Is the GOETHE® collection available in the configurator?

The GOETHE® mailbox is available in all mounting variants offered by Briefkasten Manufaktur. Accordingly, the GOETHE® mailbox can be supplied either as a wall-mounted or a freestanding mailbox. In the wall-mounted version, the mounting options are through-the-wall (rear-entry), recessed (flush-mounted) and surface-mounted. In the freestanding version, the mounting options are a pillar or a freestanding unit. All variants can beconfigured in the Mailbox Configurator.
